A Sanitrode™ is Lumenite's proprietary sanitary probe assembly featuring teflon-insulated 304 S.S. probe rods in a 304 S.S. cap. Available in tri-clamp and bevel-seat connections from 1.5" to 4" cap sizes, with 1 to 4 probe configurations.
How do I connect a Sanitrode™ probe to a Lumenite® level control?
Sanitrode™ probe assemblies connect to Lumenite® conductivity level controls via J-Jacks — available in 1, 2, 3, and 4 probe versions with cable lengths of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 feet.
What is the difference between a Sanitrode™ and a Sanidustrial™ probe?
Sanitrodes™ are designed for purely sanitary applications with polished 304 S.S. caps. Sanidustrial™ assemblies combine sanitary and industrial design — using a 304 S.S. housing and cap for more rugged environments while still meeting sanitary connection standards.
Are all-teflon probe assemblies available?
Yes. Lumenite® offers all-teflon bevel-seat and tri-clamp probe assemblies (T-DAFT and T-DCFT series) for applications involving highly corrosive or high-purity liquids where metal contact must be minimized.
What probe configurations are available for multi-point level control?
Probe assemblies are available with 1, 2, 3, or 4 probes in a single cap connection. Multi-probe assemblies allow single-tank high/low/alarm level control without multiple tank penetrations.
