Temperature Transmitters
Temperature Instrumentation
A temperature transmitter utilizes a 3-wire RTD to put out acontinuous temperature reading of any given liquid in a tank. TheLSTT-4220 Sanitary Temperature Transmitter has a standardtemperature range of -328˚F to 1,562˚F. They are 3A listed, CEE andTPV (Third Party Verified). The LSTT can also be configured with anNPT or flange connection providing a rugged solution for anindustrial environment.

Frequently Asked Questions — Sanitary Temperature Transmitters
What is the temperature range of the Lumenite® LSTT-4220 sanitary temperature transmitter?
The LSTT-4220 has a standard temperature range of -328°F to 1,562°F (-200°C to 850°C), using a 3-wire RTD sensor. It can be factory-programmed to any custom span within that range.
What output does the LSTT-4220 temperature transmitter provide?
The LSTT-4220 provides a continuous 4-20mA output proportional to the measured temperature. It can also be configured for a reverse 20-4mA output for custom applications.
Is the Lumenite® temperature transmitter 3A certified?
Yes. The LSTT-4220 is 3A listed, CEE, and TPV (Third Party Verified). All wetted parts are highly polished 316 S.S. The NEMA 4x housing is waterproof and corrosion resistant.
What connection types are available for the LSTT temperature transmitter?
The LSTT is available in sanitary tri-clamp and bevel-seat connections for food, dairy, and pharmaceutical applications, as well as NPT and flange connections for industrial environments.
Does the Lumenite® temperature transmitter require field calibration?
No. The LSTT-4220 is pre-calibrated at the factory using drift-free digital linearization. There is no temperature sensor effect on accuracy, eliminating the need for field calibration in most applications.
